My experience with Kathy has been great. It's been roughly five months and I learned a lot and I'm also much more confident to sing. Learning the right techniques is crucial. Kathy is extremely patient and she adapts the classes to the student goals and aspirations. English is not my first language and she was also always very respectful and patient in explaining everything twice or maybe three times until I get it.

"I took lessons with Mr. Dustin Newbold for 4 years, starting my Freshman year in high school. I had him all four years during high school and in that time I learned more than any other teacher could possibly teach. I learned how to read Treble and Bass music, how to play Acoustic, Electric, and Bass guitar, and even a little drums in his marching band. He also taught me the history of how music really came to be. He is very knowledgeable in music and I wouldn't choose any other teacher. His style of teaching is by far the best, he will interact 100% with his students and listen to what they want to learn and he will make sure they learn what they want. I went in wanting to know more about classic rock, blues, and more current rock, and he did just that. He would make sure I understood everything I wanted to know before we moved on, he taught me some of the history that went behind the music I wanted to learn, and he helped me explore more in those areas of music. I also took his music appreciation class and music theory classes and he didn't leave a single detail out. Highly recommend him to any student because he can teach everything there is to learn and he is very patient. Very proud of what I have accomplished as one of his students!"

"I've been taking voice with Corinne weekly for about 4 or 5 months now. I am not a professional singer or performer, but I was looking to treat myself by doing something just for me. I'm a full-time grad student who works full-time, so I really appreciate my personal, free time. Since I used to sing in high school and college, I decided it would be fun to look into voice lessons, which is how I came to Corinne. Corinne has been such a great addition to my crazy schedule! Considering I am doing this for my own enjoyment rather than professional goals, I let her choose the songs and what to focus on for each lesson, which works so well for me. I enjoy all my lessons and the best part is I get to have fun while improving my voice. I used to do choir and musical theatre years (and years) ago, and it's fun to learn new/different techniques and exercises. She records all the lessons, which is useful to both practice and just hear your own improvement. In short: Corinne is fantastic and I highly recommend seeing her!"
