Experience teacher of 13 years working from other music schools in Michigan as well as New Mexico. Teach ALL styles of music, while also teaching how to read and count notations. Lessons being taught by world touring musician still on rise. Learn your favorite songs while also seeing (reading) what you are playing. Teach full set as well as snare, and even marching band percussion like quads/quints. I believe music theory is very important to becoming a better musician and that it definitely separates the amazing from the mediocre.

About Demarcus

I am a world touring musician with 30 years of drums/percussion experience. I have performed on some of the biggest stages in the this country as well as others. I have experience working with all ages, gender, and levels of students. For many years I have taught students varying from the ages

This guys personal etiquette leaves much to be desired. Id never let him around my children. He is rude and argumentative when he doesn’t get his way.
Never seen him play out much to have all this expertise he claims either.

He is professional and patient yet he meets you where you are. I had played piano many years ago and he quickly assessed where I am today and asked what I wanted to accomplish at this point. He showed me things that I was never taught all those years ago. He is kind and so easy to work with. Can't say enough about him. Wasn't sure if I could play again after so many years. I have had hand surgery and can't wait to continue my lessons. He showed me that I can. Great for this old lady, I mean elderly person.

As a bass opera singer and professional voice over artist, I am dedicated to creating a healthy and beautiful sound with my own voice and the voices of my students. I will not come into our lessons saying there is a single way to sing. In fact, many genres require a great deal of varying vocal techniques and stylized voices. What I will do is help to lay a foundation in healthy singing so that you feel comfortable singing any genre. We will start by ensuring that your breath and vowel placement feels comfortable and from there move into repertoire of your choosing or some that I recommend based upon your interests. You will leave your tenure with me empowered to continue your passion and career for singing long after your lessons end. Music is meant to be shared. Together, we will help you to share the music and passion that you hold so dear.

He has been an amazing teacher - his technical expertise, his tremendous patience, and his ability to explain in simple terms and help me understand proper vocal technique has been instrumental in my development. "He's the best. Really easy going and nice guy. His wife even makes cookies for each lesson. As a beginner, Jim has streamlined and accelerated my learning ten fold since self teaching myself online. For references he gives you all the materials you need such as the music sheets he makes to form a lesson. They're very concise and easy to follow. I have bar chord sheet he made that's by far the best reference for those chords that I've seen.
It's really a fun experience and he takes joy in helping his students learn. Highly recommended."

"I loved getting lessons from Zelda! Her bright bubbly personality is so welcoming. She greeted me each lesson with a cup of herbal tea to sooth the vocal cords and we then worked on a series of great vocal techniques that have helped me maximise my singing potential.
This has subsequently led to me being a professional singer and touring extensively both nationally and internationally in a number of different singing styles and genres (including Jazz/Classical/Pop/Rock/Folk/Country).
Her safe methods build vocal control and stamina; as well as develop world class expressive and stylistic techniques. She manages all of this while also making lessons fun!"

"Kevin is an amazing guitar instructor. As a 20 year elementary teacher, I see great teacher qualities in Kevin. He is not just teaching guitar skills, he is teaching learning strategies as well. He was honest on the type of guitar needed for my daughter to play with more success and is always enthusiastic and full of constructive suggestions. My daughter's eyes sparkle during her 30 minutes with Kevin. I also love the emails he sends to explain her lessons and what she is to practice at home."

"She gave my 89 year old mother her voice back

When I contacted Fawn, she had come highly recommended by a popular piano store in Burbank. I had a problem with my 89 year old mother who had suffered a stroke and had lost her voice. After months of rehabilitation, she was able to speak again, but her singing voice kept cutting in and out and she was frustrated. Now confined to a wheel chair, her hope had been completely dashed when she could no longer sing, as singing was the only thing she knew she was good at. I have to say that with in 1, yes 1 voice lesson, Fawn had my mother singing again and the problem solved! She is a miracle worker with a heart of gold. I treasure the video footage she took of my mom singing, and her ability to inspire and encourage my precious mother to sing again. She gave my mother her voice back and more importantly, her hope. She is a rare find."
