I currently teach Spanish full-time at a private school in Warrenton and get a background check every two years. I have been teaching Spanish for 6 years and ESL for about 10 years. In my history as a teacher, I have taught students 3-80 years old. I have also taught adult literacy and Mexican folkloric dance.

My lessons are very interactive. I teach using sentences and phrases that relate to your personal or professional needs. We start with a simple conversation that builds up as much as it is comfortable for you. The goal is that you can apply the material immediately. During each session, we go from conversation to reading and writing (just like when you learned your first language). I have been teaching Spanish to children and adults for over 6 years and ESL for over 10 years. Let's get started!

¡Feliz Día de Brujas! This video is for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. The topic is Halloween/ Día de Brujas. You will learn the future tenses "vas a" (you are go to) and "voy a" (I am going to) and some common vocabulary related to Halloween but that can be used in other holidays or settings as well. E.g. Voy a comer dulces - I am going to eat candy

This video will help you practice the use of the verb "ser" (to be) in a very practical way. You will learn how to introduce yourself or others, how to describe yourself or others physically, or talk about your personality traits.
