Hi, my name is Jin. 
I'm from Korea and living in America now.

I specialized in linguistics and cultural studies at university.
I've been teaching private lessons since 2012. 

The way that I learned English was mostly self-taught.
I know how hard it can be to learn a second language by yourself.

I'm very talkative, but I also enjoy listening.
I think exposure to a language is a very important part of learning it.

I'm great with students of all ages and experience levels, 
and I especially enjoy teaching children.

You can also learn about the culture and people. 
Every week, I like to introduce a fun concept that has to do with Korean culture.
Things like the history of Hanbok, Kimchi, Korean flags, etc.

If you’d like, I can utilize Korean songs, movies, and shows, so that our classes will be enjoyable!

I provide lessons on Hangul, vocabulary, conversation, writing, reading, and pronunciation.

Jin is truly so wonderful. I enjoy practicing Korean with her. She finds great ways for me to remember what I learn. She makes sure we review so I don't forget. Some teachers teach, but don't allow the student to practice, she allows me to practice and allows me to find the answers myself, which I find really helpful for real life conversation situations. I am beyond thankful I get to have a daily lesson with Jin. :)
