Math is much more fun when it makes sense, isn’t it?!
My lessons are unique because you are unique. Everyone doesn’t learn the same way, so I will explain math the way it makes sense to you so that you can understand. I have experience in tutoring as I was a peer tutor in high school. Of those I tutored, many told me I explain math well, so here I am to share my skills! I am patient, understanding, and friendly, which I believe are important qualities for a tutor to have. I hope I have the chance to work with you! You are smart and very capable!!!

About Tessa

I was a Math Major at Boston University. I was a an instructor in differential equations. During my college career I tutored alll specializing in the 5 to 17 age.. Typically my students went from a D average to a B average after they had been tutored. I am a mechanical engineer who loves teaching. Not only mathematics, but also physics.
I used to teach time by time and majority of my students -who themselves wanted- got good results.
I know usually the common mistakes that the students make and let them preventing those kind of faults.

About javad

Teaching is my inner passionate. I have studied mechanical engineering and I mostly work in my field. But I love teach things that I know to the others. I believe it keeps me fresh and gives me a good sense.

I have been published a few times in my hay day, and despite what many thing, poetry does in fact have a few rules that are worth knowing :)

I met Robby in college and he was a really good guitar player. I wanted to learn from him as much as I could. He actually took the time to set me up with lessons and gave me very specific stuff to practice. He would check in with me every couple weeks and see if I had any questions and how I was doing. I moved and had to stop lessons for a year or two. A few years later I called him and asked to get together for a couple lessons. He was blown away at how much I improved and was so genuinely happy for me. We still talk every week and if I ever have a guitar question I call him. He's my friend, and he's gonna be a famous guitar player some day.

I started learning from Rob 5 years ago. I didn't think he'd want to spend time teaching me because I didn't know anything about guitar and he was so good. I was so wrong! Since our first lesson, he treated me like a friend, and 5 years later and we are great friends. I started off being able to play a couple notes, and now I can pay solos and songs and learn just about anything I want! Thanks Rob! Take Lessons from this guy! He's the Best!

My brother told me he found this great guitar teacher, and I was skeptical because he has been playing guitar for a long time and has never really sounded good. Two weeks after he mentioned him, all of the sudden he didn't suck any more. He was actually kinda good. So I tried a lesson with him and Wow! Within my first lesson I was already able to play a song! I can't afford lessons since I'm in school right now, but my brother still takes lessons with him. Even though I no longer take lessons with him I still call Rob and ask him questions about guitar all of the time, and he always makes time for me. I don't know where my brother or I would be without him. Great Teacher. Great Friend.

"Rod worked with my daughter weekly for a couple of months leading up to the NYC state tests. With Rod's careful, concerted planning and diligence, my daughter's score went from 2.4 on the 7th grade Math state test, to a 2.8 in 8th grade, which equates to a move from below the 50th percentile, to between the 50th and 75th percentile. My daughter's in-school math instruction was chaotic and disjointed, and I attribute her improvement to Rod's intervention."

"Awesome tutor! Breaks down concepts to make it easily digestible and works with your schedule. He gives you great tips that you can't learn from a book. He is very laid back and that helps with the crazy chaos of MCAT studying. Overall, well rounded in the subjects of the MCAT and would work with him again in the future if I needed. I would defintely recommend him for future MCAT test takers."

He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with Math. Keep in mind, he is good at both Math AND teaching/explaining it. I have every intention to use him for every Math class I have in my quest to obtain a degree in Com- Science. If he was living In Houston, he would probably be my wife's piano teacher."
