Life Coaching doesn't have to be a pain. You are not going to the dentist, you are just taking control of your life and reaching out in order to take the next step to success. 
Success is many things to different people. We all want the same things in life, love, respect, and a peace of mind. Are you ready to get closer to that peace of mind? It all starts from within.  The work doesn't have to be hard it can actually be fun. 
My workshops are unique because I make it FUN! I believe in taking one step at a time and not taking life too seriously, loosen up, don't wait to be discovered, discover yourself first. 

Life Coaching

I really love watching performers grow. Some students refer to me as a life coach, because after working with me,  they see drastic changes in their personal and professional lives. I am very PATIENT.

 I believe that all things are possible if you are willing to work hard and not take it all too seriously. I believe in BALANCE. If you put your best foot forward and not compare yourself to others the sky is simply the LIMIT. 

I still pursue acting and singing daily. I go out on auditions regularly and I keep up with the latest happenings in the industry. I majored in theater at WSU and I've performed in over 29 shows and I also teach At-Risk-Youth behavioral modification skills through acting.

  I know dreams can true, it's all up to YOU. If you really want to see your dreams come true in this life, I will be more than willing to assist you on this journey.

In 2005, I was introduced to a well-known organization that works with At-Risk-Youth. I've always wanted to work with this population due to my own past as a creative child with nowhere to be creative.

After working with these talented children, I decided to form my own non-profit organization and teach behavior-modification through acting as a way to give back to the community. That's when I founded, SILENCE THE TEARS. We go out and encourage young people to believe in their dreams and to let no one or anything stop them from being their very best, no matter what career path they decide to take.
This is all done through acting classes and building confidence in students who rarely have a chance to excel in life.

Currently I work with artists, especially actor/actresses. I've always enjoyed watching people grow through role-playing and working through chacters from plays, television or movies. This work really helps everyday people see just we can sometimes allow life to hurt us more than make choices to heal ourselves and not get beat down by what's going on in our lives. 

It always shocks me to see how many times we blame others or beat up on ourselves and we already have the answers to our problems. It takes work to change and I have helped 100's of people look at life from a different perspective and thus change their entire lives. Each student is different of course and there are no guarantees but you will see a change in your life.

Yvette was amazing I look forward to continuing my acting journey with her being my acting coach great  experience!

I Just had my first lesson with Yvette, and it was better than I could have ever Imagined. She is a Kind, Honest and Patient person which really took away all the stress and made it an overall amazing experience. I look forward to future lessons with Yvette!

I clicked with Yvette during our first meet. She really took the time to get to know me and the goals I had for my lessons. I’ve taken Yvette’s class for a year now and I can proudly say I am an ACTOR! 

Not only does her teachings apply to acting, they transpose to real life as well. A year ago I was terrified of any sort of class and lacked confidence in my acting ability. The thought of starting an acting career was overwhelming. Yvette is able to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and utilize that to build up your skills. As uncomfortable as I was, she provided a warm, welcoming, supportive environment that built up my self esteem. Her classes also provide excellent knowledge of the acting world that you also can apply to real life. She pushes you in a good way. A year later, I can proudly say I’m not afraid of classes anymore. I’m able to take group classes and have started my acting career. I have also stepped out of my comfort zone (using her teachings) with things I previously would have been too afraid of. 

If you are willing to show up and do the work, and you know what’s good for you, please take her class!

Yvette is an amazing instructor! She has not only helped me improve my acting but has been a personal mentor to me as well. She is an amazing person and doubles as an acting coach and a therapist. She made me realize I have skills that not very many actors have.

I've only taken a few classes with Yvette but I'm really excited to take on this new endeavor with Yvette. She is a personable and genuine person. She is excited for me to learn and gives me good feedback and encouragement. She is also very passionate about acting.

A fun Group Beginner's Acting Workshop... What you can expect.

Big cities are where the real happening is, that is for sure, but knowing when to go can be a tricky decision. If you are really ready to go to the big cities, be prepared and get some inside information from someone who has and is currently in the city of your choice. 
It can and is done everyday, and yes, dreams can come true!
 Just do proper research and everything will work out fine. 
One shoe doesn't fit all but I share my experience with my students regarding making the big plunge when the time is right. 

What you should know before moving to the big city. 

Finding an agent can be easy to some actors but, often times it can be a bit of a challenge. Finding the right one is what we all want and we can be ready when the time is right. In my class I always discuss getting an agent even if you are a beginner. Don't wait be prepared to get the right agent at the right time. 

How to find a  talent agent. 

Getting an audition is always so much fun but it can be a little stressful when you just can't think of what to wear.
 It might sound like common sense,  but it can tricky. Always be ready the night before and follow the instructions on the audition notice. Be your beautiful self but pay attention. Sometimes we get too excited and go overboard. 

How to dress for the audition.

Calling all young superstars! This workshop will be primarily for kids ages 5-9 years old. If you have a child who is really funny, shy, full of energy and would like to learn about television commercials, this is a perfect class to get started.
 You just never know, you might have a little star on your hands. This class is also great for shy children who need to come out of their comfort zone. The environment is very supportive and slow paced.

Your headshots are important, especially in the beginning. Headshots are one of the most confusing parts of being an actor. You will get lots of opinions and suggestions at first. Be careful not to spend a ton of money until you are ready. In my class, I will go over the headshots with you and discuss other options when the time is right.

There are so many fun and exciting ways to support yourself while studying acting. Waiting tables is just one option. You can meet some amazing people on your way to the big time!

Survival jobs while pursuing your acting career.

Life Coaching can be very beneficial especially at this time in society. After Covid, so many of us have decided to look at life from a different prospective. I would love to be of help to you when you are ready. Life doesn't have to be dealt with alone.

 Commercials are a great way to get into the entertainment industry. In this workshop we will work on finding the right material for you. 
We will find out what your type is, and get you at a level where you feel comfortable in front of the camera so that you are ready when it's time to audition and eventually Book the job!
