Jaren S. Windsor, CO

About Jaren

Hello :) my name is Jaren, I am 22 years old. I currently play in a band from Greeley, Colorado called Harkener. I started playing guitar at the age of 12, I learned on an acoustic guitar at first but quickly found that I liked the electric guitar a lot better. After I got the basics down I then found my acoustic guitar calling my name, and from there I was taught all kinds of unique acoustic guitar techniques from various people that I would love to teach to you! I have been teaching guitar and bass guitar professionally for four years now, I absolutely love teaching! I come from a christian background, being that my dad is a pastor, and that influences my teaching style. Instead of being rigid like some of the teachers I have had in the past, I truly just want to make sure that the ...

Jaren is a WONDERFUL Teacher!

My 6 year old daughter started Guitar lessons. Her first teacher (NOT JAREN) told her that she was not able to play and had no rhythm (we fired him). She was devistated - until we found Jaren. He was amazing. He built on her strengths, made her feel confident, and had her loving Guitar again. He taught her with multiple methods - by reading music, by ear, by playing games, they even "wrote music" together. She loves him and misses him (he moved). But, if you are looking at this, maybe you're luck enough to live in an area that he can work with you or your child. He is fantastic.

Great Guitar Teacher!

Jaren is an excellent guitar teach who brings both passion for the instrument and care for the student into the lesson.
Matthew S. Loveland, CO

About Matthew

I have a very extensive background when it comes to music. I learned piano at a very young age and once I started, I was hooked. I learned trombone, harmonica, guitar, and many other instruments. There wasn't anywhere in the world of music I wasn't willing to go! Throughout middle school and high school I took advantage of every opportunity I could. This included, Symphonic band, Jazz band, A Capella choir, Percussion Ensemble, and countless different small groups. When it came time to look at college, I took my commitment to music to an even deeper level. I decided to major in and exclusively study music. I continued in all of the ensembles I had been in and many more ranging from playing with string ensembles to playing in campus rock bands. This experience developed my skills ...

James H. Fort Collins, CO

I was born into a musical family and grew up in N.Y.C. This included my father who was a guitar teacher, composer and band leader,my grandfather who was a violin maker and my great aunts who performed Hungarian Folk Music on the zither, violin, mandolin and guitar for President Roosevelt at the White House. I was exposed at a young age to the art of guitar teaching as I "tagged along" to my father's private lessons. This gave me a great foundation on which to build my own unique guitar teaching style. Musical performance has also been a part of my life ever since I first played the ukulele and sang at a wedding when I was only six years old. My experiences in performance also include playing rhythm guitar and forming a band in Middle School, performing at High School as well as college ...
