Cindi Cl.

Gainesville, FL

About Cindi

Hi, my name is Cindi C., and I have loved music for as long as I can remember! As a child I loved to sing with the radio, and belt out hymns as loud as I could from the backyard. My mom enrolled me in dance class at the age of 3, and I loved dancing and performing! At age 7, a classmate played the piano in our music class one day, and I fell in love with it! I started taking lessons on the piano, and 3 years later started learning how to play the flute. In high school I started teaching piano lessons, and have been doing it on and off for about 30 years. My years of experience have definitely helped me to become a better teacher. I try my best to be very patient and compassionate with my students, and I tailor the lessons to meet their individual needs and goals. I want my ...

I just had my first lesson with Katrina and I ALREADY know she's an amazing teacher, approachable, very knowledgable, and does an excellent job balancing explaining WHY I'm doing something, HOW to do it, and then DOING it. I'm excited to continue workings with her and got lucky to have found the right person the first time.

She is lovely. So understanding and nurturing, makes you feel comfortable even if you have never done music before. And she is obviously highly trained and knowledgeable. She imparts valuable and complex information in a way that is easy to understand and put into practice. Stellar experience as a first-time student of singing.

Zach was amazing with my daughter. She is 13, and he was wonderful at communicating with her on her level, not as a child, and he took her input and worked with her to achieve her goals. He was sure to incorporate fun with the lessons and not apply pressure that would make her unhappy. We look forward to continuing lessons with him.

Andrew P.

Gainesville, FL

About Andrew

I have been playing the drums for 15 years. I have performed in a variety of musical settings including: in the studio, rock, jazz, Latin, funk, marching, orchestral, etc. I have years of experience on a variety of melodic percussive instruments as well as classic orchestral percussion instruments. However, my lessons are limited to snare drum and drum set, as these are the areas I am most adept in and qualified to teach. I have studied under numerous instructors, including members of The New World Symphony of Miami, Fl., The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, The Oregon Symphony Orchestra, Harry Brooklyn of Coral Springs, Fl, and the late-great jazz legend Joe Morello - master drummer and member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. *** Studio Equipment *** In my studio I have a full ...
