Learn with a native Spanish speaker from Bolivia. I have a passion to teach and help while sharing my culture and knowledge. My classes are adaptable for every student, an I will tailor the learning experience to each student's specific goals and needs.

There are 20 countries in the world that have Spanish as their official language, but Spanish is not exactly the same everywhere. I enjoy sharing insights into regional colloquialisms to help you prepare better for your unique circumstances.

About Gustavo

I started teaching Spanish in 2011 in Bolivia, helping people visiting my country learn the local language and customs. In more recent years I have helped Spanish learners prepare for trips to Spanish speaking countries, to write documents and letters in the appropriate style and tone, and to de

Today was my first lesson with Gustavo. From the start, he was super warm and welcoming. We had already worked the details before meeting today on where I wanted to focus my learning and he had a plan and peripherals ready to go. He really stretched me today, allowing me to engage in the language and corrected where needed. At the end of the lesson, he gave me some homework to help me prepare for our next lesson. I'm really excited about our future lessons together!

About Eloy

I started to play when I was 12 years old inspired by some guitar players such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Richie Blackmore and then I started taking classical and electric guitar lessons. I've been learning music from several composers like J. S. Bach, Villa Lobos, Mozart and electric guit

Eloy is great! He is very talented and his lessons include a combination of theory and practice. He has put in extra time and has gone out of his way to tailor his lessons for my interests.

Eloy is a very advanced player. He is super nice and SUPER patient. I understand everything he is doing right out of the box for me. I have been playing on and off for about 5 years. I love to play lead. He starts me out with scales. The back bone of lead. He knows exactly where to start. I have had a really positive time with him and actually booked many many more lessons with him. I HIGHLY recommend Eloy for lessons. Thank you Eloy!!
Miki
I'm a newbie with the guitar, but I've learnt other instruments before, and I can tell you that Eloy is a superb teacher.

He's very methodical, patient, and has a great eye to help you with your technique. One thing that has greatly impressed me is how he plans the exercises to build onto each other, both in technique and in theory.

He can for real make an impact in your guitar playing no matter your level.

Thanks for everything and we'll keep at it!

I have been speaking Spanish conversationally and reading/listening to stories for over four years now, with more sparse experience in the past (high school, etc.). My wife and her family are native Spanish speakers, so I have deeply enriched my Spanish language knowledge these past years. In lessons with me, we'll cover pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and colloquialisms common to Spanish spoken in Mexico.

About Adam

Adam has been teaching private lessons since 2011, and is currently available to teach lessons at home or at your location of choice. Best singing teacher anyone could hope for. Music is a complex and often confusing subject but Adam takes the right steps to make everything from scales, chords, notes, warm-ups, and music theory easily digestible. Highly recommend taking any of his classes!

Adam is a storehouse of musical knowledge! Very highly recommended if you need a grasp of music theory or need to build a solid foundation for your skills. This teacher is able to transmit a lot of information in a short amount of time, and create a way for you to practice and internalize it, so check him out!

Many years of experience teaching ESL.

Especialmente recomendado para estudiantes de Latinoamerica que llegan a los EEUU y necesitan aprender o perfeccionar el inglés

I will include all four areas of the language in the class- reading, writing, speaking and listening.

My personal philosophy about teaching ESL is that learning a second language is a gradual, structured and entertaining process.
And that it should aim at creating an interest in the culture and the development of self-expression.

About Andreina

My name is Andree. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and have lived in Tampa for a year. I studied 4 years of Modern Languages (UNIMET), have a B.A. in English Literature (UCSC). and a Masters in Comparative Literature (Universite de Provence - Aix, France). She's wonderful at helping you to incorporate what she's teaching into conversations so you can practice using and understanding signs.

I was able to use my short 4 weeks of private lessons on a recent trip where I was able to have a lovely conversation with a member of the deaf community - thanks to Carla.

I look forward to continuing on and developing a much deeper understanding of ASL!"
