I teach some techniques you don't necessarily learn in acting school which are practical and immediately usable.
ACTING
What do you do when you get the script?
Using subtext to bring realism to your performance.
Line delivery: tricks of the trade.
AUDITION
Do you have the right monologue to fit the parts you can play?
Suggestions for a monologue(s) to fit your persona. You need more than one to fit the different genres of the play or film you are auditioning for.
How to break it down, the importance of changes.
Tactics for attacking the cold read: what to do while you're waiting in the lobby after they just handed you your "sides."
Also, refer to ACTING (above).

Getting older and noticing a change in my vocal patterns was causing me some concern. Francesca not only listened to me about my concerns but she talked me through the physicality of how my vocal chords worked and how I can best sing in a way that does no damage but gets maximum range, power and tone. I have never taken vocal lessons before so this was such amazing information to have and to put into practice. When you know better, you do better. I can't recommend BugByte Studios enough! Thanks sister!

Jennifer is an amazing teacher! She provides amazing feedback and clearly knows her stuff. She is energetic and helps to bring a deep understanding of movement. I highly suggest Jennifer for privates!
Robyn
I have trained alongside Jennifer as a dancer and have seen her in action in the studio not only as the student but as the teacher. Her compassion, diligence, and dedication to sharing her own love of ballet with her students is admirable and shines through. She is dedicated to not only providing safe and polished technique and artistry but also to learning from her students and seeking out ways to improve herself.

Speaking as a peer, Jennifer's teaching style is a great hybrid between a technique-driven, traditional curriculum and a wholesome appreciation for the joy and spirit that keeps dance as a universal language. Students not only gain an understanding of the vocabulary but a safe space to develop discipline, strength and confidence.

This one's only for adults!!! 21 and up! I'll show you how to develop a character or read a scene with another scene partner and I'll make the training fun! I'll help you choose good monologues and show you how to "cold read" a dialogue at an audition. Based on my education at Columbia I have lots of techniques to offer! If you want to you can bring a scene partner, otherwise I'll read the scenes with you.

About Chrissy

Originally born in Germany, Chrissy developed a passion for music, language and teaching early on. Right out of High School she helped her mother, who was an educator at that time, write and stage-manage a children's Musical which found great response from the audience. During her Music studies in

We adore Chrissy. She is a delight to be around, is very welcoming, patient, and encouraging. Her talent is very apparent and she extends that to her students with each lesson. My daughter has displayed noticeable improvement each week and looks forward to seeing Chrissy and practicing. Incorporating students' personal music likes is also very motivating- starting with scales and basic lessons and ending with a personal challenge has been very motivating to my daughter. I cannot recommend Chrissy enough. She is a great teacher!

"My experiences with Tokia are as a performer and generative for The Tarot Reading. We worked together in rehearsal, where she acted, performed poetry, and created vignettes. What strikes me most about her is how easy she is to work with. She lights up a room with her personality and makes everyone feel at ease. She expresses herself with remarkable clarity. She won't get you bogged down in technical terminology; she'll give you solid, practical work. If you are looking for a teacher who can boost your confidence while improving your skill, Tokia is the one for you!"

"After one lesson, I feel excited and encouraged to continue with Bill as my voice teacher...Bill stayed engaged and listened to what I was doing with my voice. He then gave simple instruction on how to modify what I was saying after giving an example of himself reading. Although Bill has had years of experience, he shows patience and kindness as an instructor as well as skill. Don't take my word for it, try out a lesson with him!"

"I absolutely love Kim's acting coaching!

I have been in financial business for many years. Recently, I took a project and need to adapt quickly to play a role in a film within very short time period. I am very lucky to find Kim:

(1) She is well prepared for each lesson. She understood clearly about my objectives;
(2) She gives me lots of valuable tips to improve my acting skills;
(3) She is very quick to grasp the film writer and director's intention for the role;
(4) She pays great attention to every detail of the script to help me to maximize my potential in the role;
(5) She goes above and beyond: she reviews my recording and gives me great feedback after the lesson; she went through multiple scripts within very short time period on her own time;
(6) She is extremely fun to work with;

I just finished my second lesson with Kim. She is not only a great acting coach, but a great actor! She is definitely a go to person in my future film venture!!!"

"Frank was truly the best! I booked multiple roles after working with him. I starred in my own sitcom pilot for CBS and Frank was my on set coach and got me to a place i never thought i could get to. I have confidence going into any audition now and just signed a multi year deal with Comedy Central that i attribute almost solely to Franks coaching. If you’re looking to break into tv and film and make acting your career, i can’t think of anyone better than Frank."
