After over 20 years working in Special Education I have been conducting professional development for the last eight years in Instructional Technology. Between those two roles I have worked with students aged 5-adults, and with every category of disability. In addition to my full-time, year-round position, I have taught a graduate course in Universal Design for Learning through Gratz College and LaSalle University. All of which means I specialize in finding the right way to teach based on the ways my students learn best!
I have trained thousands of teachers in Microsoft's applications and can help you with both the desktop applications as well as the online (Office 365) versions if you only have access through a Chromebook.
I am the author of the book All the Microsoft Tools You Need to Transform Your Classroom. While I've spent the last 8 years teaching technology to teachers, that includes training them how to teach their students to use the technology. In addition to my full-time job, I am a Learning Specialist for a Microsoft education Global Training Partner.

Matthew is a former Special Education Teacher and Instructional Technology Specialist with 30 years of education and training experience. He has taught thousands of educators to use Microsoft Teams and other Office tools, Minecraft Education Edition and Nearpod. He is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and MIE Master Trainer, the author of All the Microsoft Tools You Need to Transform Your Classroom and has presented at numerous educational technology conferences. He specializes in educational uses of Microsoft's Office tools, both desktop and online (Office 365). He has also designed courses for Microsoft to train teachers in using Teams and OneNote.

I had a great time with Matthew.  We only had an hour, but he taught me a lot about Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint. Dictation on Slides and in Notes

You may be familiar with the faint lines that pop up as you drag objects around on a slide that show you when they are aligned with the top, middle, bottom, right or left of another object. If so, you have probably also been frustrated by how many lines pop up when there are several objects on your slide.
