My 12 yr old decided he wanted drums for Christmas and we knew that would include getting him lessons. Finding Christian through Take lessons was indeed lucky for my son. If you are looking for a teacher who is calm, level headed, knowledgeable and very easy to contact at anytime then Christian is who you are looking for. He has several students and they all come out happy and feeling good about their lessons. My son, even when not feeling great insist that he attend his drum lessons. compliments to the instructor.

Upright Bass is my main instrument. It's what I love and I want to share that love with anyone who wants to play the bass. The lessons are your time as a student. I am here for you and I am here to guide you on the path to success. What I think is really important is always being goal oriented. We will take what you want to do with the bass and plan how we will get there using technique exercises, solo pieces, and fun stuff you choose to learn.

About Michael

I am a professional freelance upright bassist in the Philadelphia Metro Area. I came to the Classical Bass when I was 17 and fell in love with it! In my experience, I have learned that there are two very important things: Musicality and Flexibility. The music always comes first! It's what I do

I love tailoring lessons to my students! Music is personal and I want to make sure you're learning what you're interested in or need to learn in order to prepare you for auditions or keep up in groups you play in. I always ask students for a list of music they're listening to or want to learn - nothing's off limits!

"Working with Teresa has been an absolute pleasure that I know will pay off in the long term. Thanks to her, my life and my home has been filled with music that I love to play and share with others. It is rare to find a teacher willing to listen to what the student desires to learn and then take the right steps for them to achieve their musical goals. The best thing I can say about Teresa is her ability to not only teach children but adults like myself, in a manner where based upon one's age and learning ability, they are able to become successful."

"As someone that has rehearsed and worked on chamber music with Antonio, I have to say that his pedagogy extends much further than bassoon. His background in rehearsal techniques and broad musical knowledge have been indispensable during our rehearsals, and he has often pointed out ways in which I can fine tune the expressionistic or technical aspects of my playing. Awesome teacher!"

"Ive been working with Eric for over a year now and I can't recommend him enough. Whether you are looking to play guitar recreationally or professionally Eric is the person you want to help hone your skills. As someone who has tried to teach myself and failed I can say that after working with Eric not only do I understand music itself astronomically better but I also am able to produce music on a creative level that would have taken years to achieve without Eric. Lastly, to anyone who is on edge of whether they need a teacher or not, the answer is YES, absolutely and you won't find anyone better than Eric."

"I have gone through three to four teachers in my musical journey and none of them have ever compared to Peter. He never fails to astound me with his composing, playing, and production abilities.
I have been his student for about three and a half years now and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. I look forward to my lessons because he makes every second exciting and valuable. Whether he is teaching piano, technique, songwriting, theory or voice, his passion radiates through and is extremely contagious.
He has not only substantially improved my playing and technique, but also introduced me to songwriting, which has immensely changed my life and I owe all my success to him.
Peter is not only my piano teacher, but my role model, mentor and big brother. He has always been there to pick me up and regain my confidence after the performances that weren't my best. Being a teenager, it's easy to doubt my talents, but Peter has always been the one to remind me of my abilities and send me in the right direction.
He is the most dedicated and patient man I know. He is always willing to work around my schedule, even though he lives an hour or two away from me. He never becomes upset, or at least he never shows it, when I butcher his compositions or don't get a piece right the first time.
I am overjoyed and blessed to have found such an amazing piano teacher and mentor."
