Learn from a native Spanish speaker. I started working as a part-time evening job. Currently, I am looking to become a full-time tutor because I noticed students beneficial more in a one on one teaching style. I consider myself to be very flexible with my students' schedule and try my best to address their needs in my teaching style. I follow a Spanish immersion curriculum for kids and encourage a native-like use of the language to my student who already have advance knowledge of the subject.
I am specialized in Spanish. I worked in a dual immersion classroom in after school programs and taught AP Spanish in Pittsburg High. So, I am very comfortable in any kind of level of Spanish I employ interactive activities for my young students to learn Spanish while having fun. I am familiar wit

I teach AP English Literature & Composition at Orinda Academy in Orinda, CA. I have a decade of teaching experience within various environments and demographics, including elite private schools and working with learning differences.
I also help students with SAT Prep, college guidance, and college essays.
I've published three novels called The Sleep Trilogy and also offer my services as a creative writing instructor and editor.
Over the past 10 years, I've worked as a professional touring musician (singer, guitarist, pianist) for the rock band, Inside Switch. I studied piano at the Dallas, Texas School of Music. I also attended the James Madison University music program. I have played piano for 20 years and guitar for 15.
- THE METRONOME IS SO IMPORTANT
- The voice guides the guitar if you’re more of a singer
- Repetition is key
- Practice songs that aren’t in your style to ease your way into guitar
- The power resides in strumming rhythmically
- Focus is more difficult that it seems when combining singing and guitar
- Guitar is an art in itself and itself you shouldn’t master guitar, you should be it’s friend.
- Open mics and video content are the key to more success as they expose you to criticism (good or bad)
Again, the guitar is your companion.
For any aspiring musician or any musician that needs guidance and improvement on the guitar, Peter is a great teacher.

Beginners: You will learn how I learned when I earned advanced certification in Thai while living in Chiang Mai, Thailand Using the TPR method, we'll cover listening, speaking, and writing!
Intermediate: Depending on where you are at, we can cover reading comprehension, grammar, and sentence structure. WARNING! I may recommend going back over pronunciations, which can be tedious and frustrating, but well worth the effort!
YOUNG BEGINNERS: After your first 10 sessions with me, your son or daughter will have completed a few workbooks and memorized a couple new songs. Whether it is to impress friends, land a gig, or to feel a sense of pride as a growing musician, I can't wait to celebrate your child's success with you!
