Mr. Chase is just a helpful and thoughtful teacher. I am such a newbie in singing and he really takes his time correcting and supporting me to improve myself. After few lessons with him, I have found myself more confident. He makes me love singing so much now.

I sang in chorus for almost two years when I was in high school. People always considered me an okay singer. Never thought to try private lessons. I've been playing guitar for 10 years. Most people consider me an excellent guitarist. About three months ago started playing more acoustic guitar songs with vocals but the vocals just weren't where I wanted them. So I decided to give voice lessons a shot.

Chase has been an excellent instructor. He quickly identified my major problem areas and gave me exercises to work on during my first lesson. I started doing the exercises on my commute to work a few days a week. Now I'm only three lessons in and my singing abilities have improved dramatically. When I sing for my friends they are blown away at the progress I've made.

I wish I would have started lessons years ago when I was in the chorus!

Excellent Teacher

Dennis is an all around great teacher. He is easy and comfortable to work with, but knows exactly how and when to get things done. Most importantly for me, Dennis was able to let me know which things I needed to work on to better my musicianship while also helping me figure out how to utilize what I had already accomplished to achieve new goals. As a metal player getting into jazz improvisation I had some really strong skills and many things that needed serious work. Dennis was able to help me use my strengths from previous experience to become better at something entirely new.
Mindful of tradition, but more interested in innovation, Dennis has a vast knowledge of modern styles, chord progressions, chord shapes, and scales you can't just learn from any guitar teacher. You can hear it on his record; Dennis is just as much of an individual in his playing as he is in his teaching. Unfortunately due to relocation I can no longer take lessons from Dennis but he got the ball rolling for me into new worlds of guitar playing and musical thinking that has been incredibly valuable to me.

Guitar Instructor

I decided to re-kindle my guitar playing skills after putting down the instrument for several years and not knowing what results to expect. I was amazed to find my ability to play quickly returning while taking lessons with Dennis. He was patient, encouraging and always professional and courteous. I am now practicing every day and continue to progress. I would encourage anyone seeking a skilled and talented instructor to sign up with Dennis. He has versatility with many different styles of playing and accomplished at them all.

Take Lessons From This Guy!

I was fortunate to meet Dennis and partake in six months of intensive weekly sessions which were no-nonsense. My instrument of choice is the acoustic and electric guitar.

Dennis adds a shade of color to the audible realm of musical expression that invites all practitioners to give ear to Dennis' command of the guitar. Ask him what he's been working on lately and he will show you something; it's more than enough to inspire you to keep learning and discover your own musical voice.

Dennis was humble in sharing his credentials and is a continuous student of learning himself. He clearly shows no bias and imparts his knowledge to anyone willing to learn.

Due to relocation, we could no longer meet up in person for lessons. But now that Dennis is geared up to provide teaching services online, I can still effectively take lessons regardless of location.
Pepina D. Orlando, FL

About Pepina

I am a laid back teacher and I try to be flexible in every aspect of my teaching. I try to make fun every lesson for a student. I give the students to play some familiar easy songs in order to improve their playing skills. *** Lesson Details *** My teaching methods are the Suzuki and the classical teaching method. The Suzuki method is based on learning the music by imitation of the teacher and later learning the music alphabet while the classical methods (such as the Essential Elements for Strings-M. Allen) emphasize parallel work on learning the notes and playing songs. I expect that after three months my students learn a basic technique of playing their instruments, to be able to read the notes, and play at descent level (which would correspond to the level of the Suzuki book 1 or ...

Cares about her students

I just wanted to take the time to say Thank you for allowing my child the opportunity to sing the solo between productions. I think she did a great job and it allowed her to experience what it feels like to sing/perform in front of a large group.
You are a fantastic teacher and I am glad we found you!
