I am a Gifted and Dyslexic adult that learned to read with Phonics, and I took FREE structured literacy training to teach my own children to read. 

I have personally witnessed literacy and math issues with my own family. I want to use my skills to help others acquire the Neurobiological skills of reading and arithmetic.

This course is specifically designed for beginners who are just starting to develop their number sense. I will begin by focusing on the concept of subitizing, which is an essential skill that helps children recognize small groups of objects without counting them individually.

As your student progresses, we will cover topics such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication with a focus on problem-solving skills. The aim is to help students develop a strong foundation in math that they can build upon as they continue their academic journey.

I use a Family Math approach, it encourages parents and guardians to be actively involved in their child's learning experience. By providing opportunities for families to engage in math-related activities outside of the classroom setting, I hope to foster a love of math that extends beyond the classroom.
