Passionate about cello? Expand your skills with a fun and engaging cellist!

Lessons with me usually look something like this: • Start off by asking how you're doing and how it might have affected your playing (I understand!) • Ask what you have practiced and/or what you want to learn • Quick warm-up to get the fingers nice and ready • If any questions are asked by the student, I will answer and assist as needed • Play the best instrument that is the cello 😄 I love to make teaching moments that are usually stressful or boring more engaging and enjoyable! See it as a fun time expanding your knowledge in cello while growing as a musician. Additionally, if you're working at a great pace and making lots of progress, I also give out little gifts here and then.

    About Gabriel H.

Hello! My name is Gabriel, a Music Performance Major for Cello at Kennesaw State University. I have over four years of volunteering experience with countless cello teaching opportunities in a challenged collegiate orchestra and scholarship quartet over the past year. Additionally, I was one of two string finalists for the KSU Concerto Competition in the Fall of 2023. I easily get along with everyone (especially a younger age group since I'm in such a large family) and always love making lessons far more fun and engaging. Moreover, there is no need to worry about having a teacher who is too hard on you or not understanding at all; I care a lot about my students! I believe it is important to teach students at a more personal level than a demanding one, so I am confident I will help you grow at a confidential rate as I too grow and share my musical knowledge. If you are interested in having me as your teacher, please reach out either here, via my email, or my Instagram! :)
