I can come to you even if you don't live on the East side.

My lessons are customized to address the specific needs and goals of the student. My first lesson starts with an combined informal ( introduction and conversation) and more formal assessment (pronunciation, grammar, writing, etc.). I also use methods to meet the specific learning style of the student and rely on a variety of sources. For example, I often start with a pronunciation drill focused on a specific area and/or address a particular grammar area before having the student give a talk, engage in a role play, or work on piece of writing. Moreover, I work with students on specific communication goals (conversational English; formal presentations; chairing meetings; resumes and cover letters; interviews; reports and all other types of writing-- including essays, research papers, and legal writing; and test preparation, such as TOEFL and IELTS.

I am a native speaker and have taught for more then 15 years.
My lesson are structured, creative and fun.

I have both TEFL certificates to teach general and business English. I have taught general and business English for the past 7 years.
I'm an author of 5 books, 4 of them are written in English and one in French; they can be verified through Amazon. My career background is very versatile when it comes to education. Beside my teaching career in class, I have lectured in French and English about psychological and social issues.

Experienced ESL teacher of 9 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. I specialize in business and everyday English, typically use English File and English Grammar in Use books, and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: games, role-plays and newspaper articles for discussion and vocabulary practice.

Over the past 9 years I have enjoyed many opportunities to motivate and build confidence in students through meaningful learning experiences. As an educator, I am always seeking new ways to improve the learning outcome for students at all stages development.
