I started playing the drums in 2002. I was in third grade. I have played for several different groups, a few different churches, and orchestras as well. I learned how to read music when I joined 5th grade band. Whether you are a beginner, or you are an experienced drummer who wants to build your chops up some more, I will help you achieve your goals you are trying to reach.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced drummer, I help people develop a better understanding to reading music, and I help them expand their creativity around the drum set. It’s important to get the basics down. That opens creativity and speed while practicing or performing.

This lesson focuses on ghost notes. Accents the 2 and 4 on the snare drum and then add the ghost notes (quiet notes) in between to fill the space.
