I have been teaching for a couple of years and I have succeeded as a pianist and a bassist for orchestras and ensembles. I have done solo work and chamber work for ballets and orchestras. My experiences ranges from piano composition to teaching music theory. I have been playing the piano for 16 years; this includes being privately taught by my mentor Gary Reid. I also play the double bass for orchestra. I have learned the double bass for 12 years so far.

Our primary function is to establish definite goals and awards--in noncompetitive auditions--for students of all levels, from the earliest beginner to the gifted prodigy.

I am able to help students prepare for testing in their respective piano levels. Students can be tested from primer level to level 10. They will receive a certificate for reaching their appropriate levels. Testing is held once a year. Every year, my students participate in this testing.

As a local chapter of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, the Las Vegas Music Teachers Association (LVMTA) shares in MTNA's mission of "advancing the value of music study and music-making to society while supporting the careers and professionalism of teachers of music."

Students can work with me to become certified at the level of musicianship they are currently working in and they will be able to open more doors to piano competition/music schools. Choosing the correct piano for learning can be a daunting task. For each student, a different type of piano can be suited to meet different needs of the students. For myself, I have an upright piano because it is better suited for my home. I can also place the piano in a space that I have room for. I wouldn’t need to play on a grand piano.
