I am a graduate of the University of Phoenix and USF with an education degree and a communications degree .I am also an LCTI certified Life Coach.  I am passionate about learning. I believe the most important skill for success is to become and remain a life-long learner in EVERY aspect of your life.  I have hands on teaching experience from Pre-K through adult learners. I believe everyone will experience success if their educators practice active listening and adaptive teaching techniques. My goal is to find out how YOU learn and adapt my process to YOU. I directed theatre for both the Middle and High Schools. 
We performed Seussical the Musical with over 100 Middle School Students.
We also did Honk Jr.
For the High School I directed 1 musical and 1 straight play as well as a competition 1 Act each year.  These included Arsenic and Old Lace, Grease, Sleepy Hollow, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and The Odd Couple.

Assisted with Cinderella and The Last 5 years.

Including set construction, rehearsals, costumes, lighting and stage management.

Coordinated and ran large Web conferences including satellite feeds and back-ups, guest experiences
Wrote and directed numerous productions including music and drama
Directed several full length musical productions including set design, construction, casting, directing, rehearsals, lights, media and print media.

Ok - you've hit the "teenage years".  Suddenly you don't know this human anymore.  They won't let you in.  They won't share.  They've become monosyllabic. Unless they're talking to their friends. How do you give them enough freedom to grow without losing them completely?

These are tough years - but they can also be the most rewarding years.

You will walk away calmer, more confident in your purpose during these years and better equipped to handle whatever comes your way.

It was a nice and fun experience participating in Voice Acting!

I Started utilizing Misti about two months ago and here is what I have to say.

1) she is a no bull teacher she is going to give real advice and sometimes you may love it but she is amazing and an incredible human.

2) welcome to the family she is not just a teacher she will worry about you as if she is a mom! having a lesson with Misti is like a warm hug from a mother.

3) I have learned so much about the craft of acting and myself as the actress.

4) when it comes to teaching she won't just let you fail she will run it with you a few times and give you advice but your opinion matters too but trust she knows what she is doing so I tend to follow her lead if need be.

5) she will always be honest with you and she cares about your mental state as well she won't let you run a scene that might be too harmful unless she knows you can do it. she will push but not off an edge!
