Hi, I'm Nedra. I love teaching! I have over 19 years of experience in the education field. I have a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (English) & an Associate of Science in Teacher Education, as well as several graduate courses in Education Administration. I am also TEFL certified, through Premier TEFL. My professional skills range from teaching preschoolers, elementary age kids, middle school kids, and adults, and includes many subjects, with ESL being my primary focus. I have experience teaching students who have a special need, as well as students with challenging behaviors.  I have a love for the English language, which is the drive that pushes me to utilize my expertise to help students become better writers and readers. I look forward to working with anyone who needs to reach short or long term goals. Moreover, if you need to pass the IELTS or the TOEFL, book me for some private sessions, so that I can assist you in the learning process. In this class, students will be reading short passages along with help from the teacher. They will answer qustions concerning, plot, setting, characters, and events that take place in the story. Students will improve comprehension and critcal thinking skills, as well as pronunciation skills. This is a great class for struggling readers and those who need extra help!

Ms. Nedra is an excellent tutor. She checks ALL the boxes of what I looked and prayed for in a tutor for my children. One of my children is special needs and she is understanding and still able to cover the lessons. They both like her. Her online setup is just like being in a classroom, but online. The use of the whiteboard on Zoom and my children being able to have access to the pen and write on worksheets and circle answers are a BIG plus. My children being tutored by Nedra has exceeded my expectations. My children as well as myself look forward to them having ongoing tutoring with her. I highly, highly recommend Nedra for your tutoring needs. 

Ms Nedra is patient, kind, and great with my daughter! Love the flexibility of virtual classes and appreciate the availability when our time difference is 6 hours!
