    I was a classroom teacher for 5 year and have been a tutor for over 11 years. I have professional experience grading papers, drafting projects & reviewing presentations for spelling and grammar, as well as creating resumes for clients. I thoroughly proofread for grammar, style, and spelling errors. I have created both professional and unique resumes for clients.

    I have a Master's Degree in Education and 5 years of teaching experience. I have been a private tutor now for over 11 years for children ages 5 years old and up. I tutor elementary, middle, high school and adults. I am familiar with common core and school standards. I would be more than happy to speak with you or your child's teacher regarding their needs. *** Lesson Details *** While I have extremely high expectations for all my students, I adjust my approach for each student in order to best serve him or her; for many of my students, for example, I design specific programs centered around goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. I am very familiar with different learning styles. I am very flexible in scheduling and meeting my student’s needs. So far for the last several years, I have been very successful in one-on-one tutoring and have managed to pull many students from grades of D's & F's to A's and B's.     Mrs. Monica was diligent and thorough with her tutorage of my son. She was patient with him and kept him engaged and track throughout. She was very accommodating of us when things came and we had overall a great experience with working with her and we would definitely recommend her.
