Cello with Kyle P.

I have actively taught cello lessons for the past four years professionally, and currently study cello performance and music theory and the Frost School of Music. I greatly enjoy teaching, and I generally work best with late middle and high school students, and am extremely experienced in audition, competition, and performance preparation. In the past, I have had students get into highly acclaimed youth orchestras (including Midwest Young Artists Conservatory), compete in chamber music competitions (including Rembrandt Chamber Musicians Annual High School Chamber Music Competition), and win concerto competitions (including the Racine Symphony Young Artists' Competition. I myself have been reviewed by the South Florida Classical Review for my recent performance with Ensemble Ibis, the review stating, "Kyle’s burnished cello solo . . . encompassed the work’s passionate moods."
