As a teacher, I can help new students to learn painting/drawing techniques and develop their eye-hand coordination. Once they have more experience handling the tools, I will encourage them to develop more on critical thinking. Since an artist is an one person endeavor, critical thinking can come in handy at times. I do my homework and look for references ahead of time, and I give my students 100 percent of attention when in session. I also do demonstration on painting techniques in session as well as give feedback to students' work. I enjoy an art-making creative process from nothing to something, from an idea to a tangible work, from doubt to certainty, from mistakes to right choices, and from critiques to new creations. This cycle of making from begin to end gives me a chance to find my strength, weakness, happiness and satisfaction. It is not an easy path, but it gives me a voice and to connect directly to an audience. I will not have any other way.
