Grant Reed has the right combination in his approach to teaching: patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and motivate. He has had extensive training. He also has a lot of teaching and performing experience. Grant knows what works! His manner is calm and empathetic.

Grant was terrific, and easy, friendly for our first lesson. My son was comfortable and attuned to Grant's ideas and instruction. I think Grant's teaching method and perspective on music and the trombone is effective. W look forward to more sessions. ~Pete

Grant has been an excellent instructor for my son who is just finishing his first year learning trombone. Grant is patient and really cares about his student’s progress. I feel my son is more engaged and enthusiastic about playing trombone under Grant’s tutorage. Highly recommend.
