Learn singing with a Musical Theater actress

I believe that everyone can sing! It's just a matter of effort, practice and time. Also I believe that singing is a great pleasure, not to mention it is an art. I could say that my teaching style is to let my students find their personality, their own voice, in a broadest definition. I want to show them how they can express themselves through the vocal technique, to show them how they can get to know themselves through the singing. I can say, that my teaching style is a great journey that I am taking my students to.

I am a certified singing teacher, a Musical Theater actress and a performing singer. I've been singing since I was four. I graduated from New York Vocal Coaching school with a certificate of Vocal Pedagogy. In addition to my experience this course taught me a totally new, modern approach to the voice teaching and a clear understanding how the sound is produced in our body. We all are built differently, so my students can expect a personal approach to their needs and requests. I will design vocal exercises for each student individually, so it fits your voice and nature the best. As a professional actress I believe that every song is a little monologue, so I will teach you how to express your feelings through the song and how to find the best intonation and the way to perform it. I am a preforming actress and singer with bachelors in Directing Theater. I have over 15 years experience working in the drama and musical theater in Tbilisi (Georgia), Moscow, Philadelphia and New York both as an actress and assistant director. Being a Broadway Actors' Equity Association member, I do a lot of auditions myself, so I also can share my experience with you and teach you an auditioning skills or prepare you for auditions. I teach singing technique for all styles and genres, and coach for Musical Theater or pop and rock music. I look forward to meeting you and hear your unique voice!

Elena provided introductory singing lesson to my daughter and myself. I appreciated that she worked in this area as it gave the lesson that professional experience which my daughter would benefit from in growth and perspective. The technique was beneficial as well. I'd recommend Elena.

I had my first online lesson with Elena today, and it was a great experience! She's very open and welcoming and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. I wish we could do in-person lessons! I highly recommend her!
