This is a video course that allows students to watch and educate themselves about how to get started with songwriting, which is not so much about singing, but more about step-in music production.

You will focus on the audio messages that are narrated throughout each of the 4 slides, and after the messages finish, there will be a pause between 5-30 seconds for the student to read the bullet points.

Songwriting

Gregory has been a singer/songwriter since his senior years of high school. 

He became comfortable as a listener of various genres such as Pop, Soft Rock, Adult Contemporary, and R&B with a few other genres such as Christian Rock or Contemporary Christian. As a performer, he may only be beginning his journey, but from 2004-2020, Gregory has recorded over 110 songs.

Gregory has strong creative writing skills and an impressive amount of technical knowledge, as he first was into video editing. Beginning in 1999-2001, he would consider himself an unofficial editor and prospective Disc Authoring Specialist of video broadcasts as some of his first work. As it had turned out, these skills and becoming more English literate, mostly crediting to Closed Captioning, he tried his talents out with filmmaking from 2016-2018.

Gregory successfully made a docu-drama series from the 3 films he made within his 2 1/2 years of filming, titled "The One By One Documentaries" and awaits a partnership to distribute them.

Gregory is an artist where his goals are based on providing value during his students' or fans' experience, where he teaches how to focus on the multiple stages of music through different steps. Although some of the classes will be focusing on beat-making, the majority of his sessions will be how to focus on writing the lyrics to a song that matches the stories where the performer will feel they could most resonate with the situation that the audiences can eventually understand or comprehend.

His last type of classes will be related to vocal guidance and advice during practice sessions.

The reason he is offering such a variety is that students are lacking some of the most basic and intermediate understanding before trying to embark on a do-it-yourself adventure. Gregory also comes from the position of having to self-establish his skills and continues to provide his knowledge to others for future successes.

Designed for songwriters and music publishers, this Pros/Cons narrated video discusses experiences and life lessons, as an educational strategy towards which key components are mandatory to consider, before successful publishing and administrative royalty accounting. Brief discussions regarding US Copyright Office stipulations, mention limitations and/or protections eligible for individual artists vs. corporately managed artists.

This video is a presentation of stories and facts raising awareness about the music industry and the challenges artists continue to face.

There are three segments within the video that every songwriter or musician should learn beforehand about monetization and/or whether they are committed to their crafts based entirely on merit, or based entirely on profits.

Based upon previous experiences outlined and narrated within the video, it will also conclude with a message about what the viewers should consider or prioritize when songwriting or beginning a career within the arts and entertainment industries.
