Piano

I have been teaching piano and theory since year 2000. Apart from  teaching privately, I served in music elementary, middle and high schools in Belgrade. Residing in Miami from June 2015, I served in Miami Fine Arts Academy, Music Works and Allegro. 
Bachelor Degree in Piano from Belgrade University of Arts in 1997 and Master of Music in 2003. 
Piano Performance Diploma Program from Longy School of Music, Massachusetts in 2002.
I am passionate about teaching and helping my students achieve their goals, whether they are at beginning or advanced level. My methods are flexible and am always looking for a fresh approach from which the student can benefit the most.
Nevertheless, I require my students to have either acoustic piano or 88 keys keyboard with weighted action, and I also find necessary that my students are really committed to learning, :)

Apart from actively performing, I have been teaching piano for 20 years, in elementary, middle and music high schools where my students received prizes at national and international competitions. I enjoy helping students achieve their goals and am changing my methods and approach to each student according to their development, needs and goals.

Sandra is amazing! She is so passionate and goes above and beyond to help you become a better pianist. Her teaching style is no-nonsense but also empathetic, and her classes are always fun and challenging. I've improved and learned so much in just a few months—it's far exceeded my expectations. When I came to Sandra I was one month away from my college piano audition and in need of a miracle. I had to prepare four quite difficult pieces and I had not taken any piano lessons since I was 12 years old (over 6 years). I knew this sounded very impossible but I went for it anyway. A month later, I got accepted into the Piano Performance program. So basically, Sandra is a miracle worker. She didn't only help me ace these pieces from scratch and learn the proper way and style to play them in, but she also helped me record my audition tapes and let me use her piano for them. She took her own personal time to give me extra help so I could get into this university and she was always supportive and caring too. Not only is she a piano master, but she is also extremely nice so every lesson was very pleasant and enjoyable. My piano skills greatly improved in just a month and I cannot thank her enough for everything she's helped me achieve. So if you are looking for an amazing piano teacher, you just found her! Seriously, look no further, you will not be disappointed.

Sandra is an amazing teacher! She is strict and kind, funny and serious at the same time. Just perfect for improving your skill fast and productive.
