How to Read Basic Rhythm Figures

My daughter who is 8 now has been taking lessons with Mattia for the last few years and he is an amazing teacher to her!!! We started during Covid when everything was online and have continued because us is so patient with her, fun, and so good at what he does!!!! I absolutely would recommend taking lessons from him - kind, talented, knowledgeable and so caring about her learning!

Mattia asked why I was trying to learn Italian and he was able to tailor his lessons for my particular needs. (A trip to Italy in September). I am doing Duolingo and Memrise, and he supplements my meager learning with pronunciation tips, culture and history. He has also suggested many ways I can learn outside of apps. Passive learning by listening to Italian music and films. Talking to myself as I go about my day. We have met five times so far. I look forward to working with him until my trip. And maybe after because I am sure I will want to travel to Italy many more times! Mattia is also able to explain the differences between English and Italian in terms of figures of speech and idiomatic phrases. He is very funny and our time goes by very quickly.
