I am certified to teach in both China and the United States. 
   - I started teaching Mandarin Chinese online since 2017. Before I became a full time Mandarin teacher (K-8) at a school in Arizona in 2019, I taught special forces Chinese part time. 
   - I have been teaching ESL students (mostly middle school and high school students) Reading and Writing (includes rhetorical devices) since 2009. 

For Mandarin Chinese class, I can help you with HSK, AAPPL and ACTFL tests. HSK is required if you are interested studying in China one day. AAPPL is a test for K-12 students, while ACTFL is a test that's required for any person who's interested working for military or national departments in the United States. For example, I took OPI Mandarin and I acquired Superior level before I could teach special forces Mandarin. 

For English related subjects (ESL, Reading, Writing), I can help you with academic school work and TOEFL test. From my education background, you will see I have met with the qualifications of being an English teacher! 

I got my B.A. in English Literature from a prestigious university in China (Henan University ranked TOP 5 in English subject the year before I attended). I acquired my teaching license in English subject after I graduated from college. In 2016, with multiple scholarships, I came to U.S.A. to pursue my further study in English. As the only nonnative English speaker, I got my M.F.A. in Creative Writing from University of New Hampshire. I got a full time teaching job in the states after I graduated.

Before coming to the U.S., I founded a summer camp in 2010 and a language school in 2014, to teach English and Chinese in China. I've gained valuable teaching experience and skills over the years.

As a translator for the manager, I was deeply involved in the interviewing, hiring, and firing processes, as well as communications between different clients. I am a native Chinese speaker. I have been teaching languages (Chinese & English) since 2010. I got my ACTFL certification in  2018 and started teaching special forces online par time. I have taught at a private school in the United States for a few years. Now I am teaching full time online. I am also certified to teach in public schools in China. I believe interaction and immersion are effective approaches to learn a new language. Learning a new language with a native speaker is ten times efficient than learning from language apps. Lessons are customized. Communicative language and Chinese culture would be prioritized while making lesson plans. To learn a new language, it's not simply about the language itself. The more you know about the culture, the better you appreciate the language.
