Flip, Graduate, Celebrate: A PD Event to Wrap Up the Year

In this "Assessments & Presentations, Never Easier with Microsoft Flip" professional development session, you will learn how to effectively use Flip to track progress, evaluate student learning, and create engaging presentations. We will also welcome Virginia Nguyen as our guest educator, who will share her experience using Flip to document "The Belonging Project" which is a powerful school-wide showcase focusing on the question, "What does belonging mean to you?" by celebrating inclusivity and diversity throughout her school community. Join us for a lively discussion to discover how Flip can be utilized to document growth over time, assess learning and understanding, as well as showcase individual and school-wide projects.

Assessments & Presentations, Never Easier with Microsoft Flip

Join us for a professional development event that will explore the infinite possibilities of math and pi using the latest technology tools with Microsoft Flip and Math Solver while being awed with Wacom abilities too! This special Flip event will be hosted by George Melookaran and Andy Knueven, and welcoming a special guest, renowned educator, Stacey Roshan! Stacey will share in this interactive workshop inspiring uses of Wacom tablets and will provide educators with practical strategies and ideas for integrating these tools into their math curriculum. 

You'll discover how to use Flip to create engaging math lessons that integrate visual and interactive elements, making math more accessible and enjoyable for students. We'll also explore how to use Math Solver to solve complex math problems in a fraction of the time it would take manually. You'll learn how to use these tools to enhance student learning, encourage critical thinking and peer-to-peer (or collaborative) learning, and foster a love of math.

During this 30-minute training session, we’ll discuss how educators and students can use Flip to be more inclusive and engaging with their peers. We’ll show you how to use our free and accessible video discussion experience to support culturally responsive teaching and promote student learning and practices in and out of the classroom.

Culturally Responsive Activities with Flip

In this session we will discuss the limitless possibilities of using Flip for effective Global collaborative practices. Educators will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about using Immersive Reader to connect students across continents and strategies for accessibility, inclusion, diversity, and equity.
