Music has been an integral part of my life

As a guitar teacher in Virginia Beach, music has been an integral part of my life. Music has played a major role in both my personal and professional life. I embrace the chance to be immersed in it, to share my enthusiasm for it, and to use my expertise in the area of music education. During guitar lessons, I promote creative development and student performance skills.
I have had guitar students, two in particular, who started from scratch and practiced their way up to a performance level, while also learning to sing at the same time. The students and their parents were so proud! It was wonderful to see.
Watching someone start to play an instrument, be it guitar, piano or voice, with the desire to accomplish, create, and grow is a wonderful gift. Having the opportunity to witness this gift is a rewarding experience for me and my students. I have taught people of all ages who never thought they COULD do what I told them they WOULD be able to do. They just needed the chance and the guidance to try. I love sharing that!
