    About Paula G.

    I am a skilled seamstress/costume designer and basket weaver. I have worked with theatrical companies like Cirque Due Soleil, LA Opera and the Pantages Theater. I also and run my own sewing & craft business from home, "Paula in Stitches". My teaching experience in Los Angeles has been at MOOD Designer Fabrics and Hands on Third. G Any student can be confident I have the ability to teach anyone strong sewing & basketry skills from the very beginner to a more advanced student. I started my own sewing education in home economics in Jr. High School and have developed my skills over the years through on the job training. I learned basketry in summer camp and have been self taught since the age of 13. My capabilities have allowed me to become a sample sewer for designers like Greg Lauren , of the Ralph Lauren family and up and coming clothing companies like Freedman Denim. My patience and enthusiasm for teaching a craft that I love is a strong asset my past students have enjoyed. Teaching is a relatively new adventure for me and I look forward to continuing to share this art form with you!
