I absolutely love working with students to instill and encourage confidence and the joy of music and theater. I graduated from school with a degree in Vocal Performance & Theater Performance. Not only have I performed in numerous musicals and stage productions, I've been able to sing solo, and in both small and large ensembles in nearly every state in the US and all over the world (including Austria, Germany, Canada, and Costa Rica). I have since moved on from performing because I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm for music and theater with my students! I have been teaching voice since my senior year of high school. After some pedagogy training in college, I moved on to teach several students out of my home studio in Baltimore, New York City, and now Stamford. I incorporate aspects of classical and contemporary music to make learning both beneficial and fun! I have been directing theater since high school. I have coached many youth competition teams as well as large scale, dramatic productions in Baltimore. I incorporate many acting techniques and encourage students to explore history of theater. Students learn both classic and contemporary monologues, as well as play games and perform exercises in the lesson. I love the performing arts and I hope to share the joy of music and theater with each student.
