I noticed a difference in my vocal technique from the first lesson with Marjorie. She explained the concepts of breath and bringing your sound forward in a way that my previous teachers never could. I have finally learned to hear and feel the difference in my voice when I'm using the proper technique and it's so much easier to sing!

She has a great patience and unwavering support for all of her students, and she knows how to push each individual to reach their potential without being forceful or mean. Marjorie is a wonderful vocal instructor and I recommend her for all levels of experience.

Although I started playing piano at the age of 3, until I met Marjorie I had been totally blocked at piano for at least 10 years. My mother would ask me gently, once a year, "don't you think you need to be playing?" And, of course, I never could.

When I met Marjorie, I had so much anxiety about the piano, we mostly talked. And talk we did! Due to Marjorie's intuition, patience, understanding, and her own talent and creativity, I eventually broke my block.

I have to say that with each lesson it get easier and easier to compose. At my last lesson, while Marjorie was checking my music theory work, I sat at the piano and everything seemed to come together. The music just flowed out of me. I don't really know how to thank Marjorie. It seems we just click. Thank you for recommending her to me. It has changed my life dramatically!

I had never taken voice lessons before I started with Marjorie. She made me feel comfortable and excited with her positive energy. I feel like I've come a very long way in a short period of time.

Both my daughters have been taking instruction with Marjorie, and they absolutely love her. Not only do they have fun, but I have heard real improvemet in their voices.

Marjorie coached my older daughter this past fall for an audition at Laguardia HS and we recently heard that she has been accepted into the vocal studio there. We are so thrilled, and she couldn't have done it without Marjorie!
