    I teach all my students ear technique, basic note structure and rudimental technique.

    I develop technique playing along with my students. This allows me to show them techniques through example, working with their ear technique as well as a visual training. I also work with CD music using songs I have picked out and songs my students listen to and are wanting to learn.

    I believe a teacher must work with each student on an individual basis, as each student presents unique challenges. I have worked with students as young as 4 and as old as 63, male and female. I enjoy teaching beginning to advanced levels. I strive to motivate my students to encourage them to learn.

    I have been playing drums since the age of 4. Music has been an important part of my life as far back as I can remember!

    I joined the school band in the 4th grade and continued learning through my senior year . School band gave me a lot of exposure to all of the different types of percussion instruments.
