Alan's passion for playing guitar began at an early age and continues to this day. In addition to being an experienced performer, he has had many years of formal studies in classical, jazz, rock, blues, and more.
Alan is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied jazz guitar and composition with such renowned and Grammy award winning artists/composers such as Alla Elana Cohen, Mick Goodrick, Sheryl Bailey, and others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My daughter started her classes with Alan recently. She is 5 years old and I am extremely pleased with what she has learnt so far. Alan is extremely patient with kids and makes the classes enjoyable. He is very comfortable while teaching her and fully comprehends that kids her age can be distracted. However, I have observed that his teaching approach keeps her thoroughly engaged on the lesson and she enjoys it. I would highly recommend Alan. July 28, 2010
