Singing

Stephanie speaks both english and Spanish fluently from having grown up in a multi cultural family, as well as having lived in seven different countries throughout her life. From a very early age, she studied and took lessons both in school and privately, for many different forms of dance, visual arts, & music (voice & piano). In 2012, Stephanie graduated with honors (Cum Laude), from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. She currently resides in the Los Angeles area and works both corporately and independently teaching and coaching in voice and music.

Artist Bio: 

Stephanie is a vocal performance and songwriting graduate from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. Having taken workshops and classes from artists such as John Mayer, James & Livingston Taylor, as well as Amy Heidemann (lead singer from Karmin), and Pia Toscano .Stephanie is a well-coached vocalist and songwriter. She has performed for the President of Costa Rica, the Ambassador & Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States Embassy, as well as having performed with the Grammy award-winning Latin American band Maná.  Additionally, she has written a song for renowned Producer Howard Dando (know for his Broadway Musicals of the Beatles' SGT. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band and others). Stephanie has been giving voice lessons and songwriting workshops for around 6 years since she graduated. She teaches a full range of subjects, including ear training, music theory, beginning keyboarding & accompanying skills, vocal health, vocal technique, the Alexander Technique, choreography for performance, relaxation techniques, developing proprioception/interoception as well as an emotional and energetic awareness, for a better interpretation of songs and optimal vocal quality. She leads songwriting workshops and mentors/co-writes with her students so that they are able to master their songwriting skills and develop as artists. She is comfortable teaching a variety of styles including, Pop, Classical/Opera, Blues/Jazz, R&B, Broadway, Folk/Indi, Rock, Latin styles, etc. Her primary focus when teaching are vocal techniques emphasizing control and understanding of the voice. Stephanie was amazing!! She nailed the schedule as I had limited openings. She was super sweet and accommodating. With the time we had, she covered a lot of ground and she sent me additional materials to review for homework. She knows her stuff and has a warm spirit and positive energy. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!! ☺️




Stephanie was clearly extremely passionate and enthusiastic about her work. Her energy was infectious and I improved a lot in only 5 lessons. 

Stephanie is a fantastic vocal instructor! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable! She has the ability to immediately notice and correct my trouble areas, and I was seeing big improvements in my singing within a few lessons (I have been singing for most of my life, but without any professional training) I got to choose the songs I wanted to sing too! Every lesson with her is fun and we end up laughing a lot… learning music should be FUN! Highly recommended!

Stephanie was an absolutely amazing teacher and helped me so much in expanding my vocal abilities. She showed me that I was singing at a much lower pitch and walked me through some very difficult verses of songs that I was struggling with. This is a teacher that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone no matter their skill level in singing.

Another lesson where I learn something new about both songwriting and performing my songs.  How fun is this?  LOTS!!

Stephanie is an excellent vocal instructor! Her credentials and knowledge speak for itself however, her passion really comes across during lessons. Also,  I've done both online and in person lessons and to my surprise, the online lesson I took was just as effective. 5 stars, highly recommended!

I never usually write reviews, so this goes to show how incredible Stephanie has been at coaching me in the first month. I've had 5 one-hour lessons with her so far and each one has been very helpful! I came in as an experienced singer who wanted to take my voice to a more advanced level. For context, I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2020 and had 4 voice teachers while studying there. Honestly I think Stephanie has been the most effective teacher for me so far. She's great at hearing the small details and explaining very clearly how to physically and emotionally get the sound you want. She is also extremely kind, funny, and supportive which is a huge plus. With only a month of training together, I'm now singing with more ease, control, and confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced singer, I'd highly recommend taking lessons with her!
