I do and have always enjoyed mathematics overall. I have a minor in math and I have a genuine interest in being able to tutor. Sometimes the way subjects are taught may make the information a bit difficult to fully grasp but when it is explained in the correct way even the areas that seem the hardest to understand become fairly simple. I have always applied a different way of thinking to help me understand subjects, specifically math related, and have realized over time that once you grasp that basic understanding it makes the fundamentals much more feasible to grasp. My way of tutoring includes helping individuals think in a different way to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Essentially this allows them to approach new topics in the same manner which provides a more lasting way of absorbing new information. I look forward to helping students not only understand math but learn to enjoy it.
