    I have been teaching mathematics at all levels since earning my Bachelor of Science Degree from Bucknell University in 1987. I am a lover of mathematics and I bring mathematics to life in a way which is understandable and enjoyable for you (or your child). I make mathematics applicable to everyday life and I utilize techniques that promote learning and skill development. I enjoy working with K-12 students on number sense, integer operations, order of operations, fractions, percent, real numbers, algebra, solving equations, geometry and spatial sense, measurement, proportions, probability and data analysis. I specialize in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra Numerical Analysis, and Advanced Calculus, and my expertise extends into graduate level courses.

    I am a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics at Delaware State University. I held the position of Associate Professor from January 2004 until August 2011 at which time I was promoted to Professor. I held the position of Honors Program Director from July 2009 until January 2019. Prior to coming to Delaware State University, I taught at the New Jersey Institute for Technology, the University of Maryland and Northwestern University.
