Delaware State University

I am a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics at Delaware State University. I held the position of Associate Professor from January 2004 until August 2011 at which time I was promoted to Professor. I held the position of Honors Program Director from July 2009 until January 2019. Prior to coming to Delaware State University, I taught at the New Jersey Institute for Technology, the University of Maryland and Northwestern University.

Army Research Laboratory

In the summer of 2019, I worked as a visiting researcher at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland. The research performed during this time is ongoing.

Changchun University of Science and Technology

In the summer of 2016, I taught two sections of Calculus III in Changchun, China for Summer session I. It was an amazing experience.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Since its founding more than 200,000 women have joined the organization. The organization is a sisterhood of predominantly Black, college educated women. The sorority currently has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica and the Republic of Korea.

The AMS, founded in 1888 to further the interests of mathematical research and scholarship, serves the national and international community through its publications, meetings, advocacy and other programs, which encourage and promote the transmission of mathematical understanding and skills, support mathematical education at all levels, advance the status of the profession of mathematics, encouraging and facilitating full participation of all individuals, foster an awareness and appreciation of mathematics and its connections to other disciplines and everyday life.
