If you are brand-new to the guitar, I'd love to jump right in and teach you a fun song right away during your first lesson. I like making this as fun as possible while you're learning a lot about the guitar. If you already know how to play, I'd like to help you gain a better understanding of how the guitar applies to basic music theory. I want to help you truly gain your independence as a guitar player. In my opinion, there are only two things that really matter when learning how to play the guitar: 1) Having fun and 2) Learning a lot. That's what I hope that you can attain by learning from me.

My lessons are goal oriented and tailor made for YOU! We will discuss in your first lesson what your goals are, whether you have modest goals of playing your favorite songs, or you have ambitious goals to become a songwriter, learn music theory, improvise, improve your guitar technique, etc.

I already have a database of premade lessons that we will use to get the ball rolling and get you going onto your guitar playing journey!

I am an experienced, educated, professional guitar player with a background in rock, blues, worship, jazz, classical, contemporary, country, and folk guitar. I have played/led for numerous worship teams, independent bands, and ensembles which are detailed in my "about me" section. I graduated Magna-Cum Laude from UTA with a bachelors degree in Music-Media with guitar as my primary performing instrument. I am the worship leader for Redemption Bible Church, a private instructor , and the lead producer for Drive35 Productions.

Playing the acoustic is where most start with learning to play the guitar. Whether you want to play songs with friends or accompany your voice it's always a very portable instrument with a lifetime of enjoyment.
