My name is James, and I love music. Music is my "aeroplane". It's the window to my world. Everything I do involves music: learning it, playing it, listening to it, creating it, studying it. I think it is safe to say that music is my life's passion. If you have a passion for music, or even just a curiosity, I'd love to be the one to help you explore the magical world of music! I've been playing for about 20 years now, and I've had almost every experience that one can have playing the piano: playing at a high competition level, public performances, both solo and ensemble, lots of private instruction. My personal training is in classical piano, however I believe that all genres possess the potential to be an instrument of learning and enjoyment, AT THE SAME TIME! And I'd love to show you how! Recently, I completed my sophomore leve classes at a local college studying music under a wonderful and passionate professor. This experience has only helped to solidify my love of musical arts. During my freshman year of studies, I was awarded Music Student of the Year (2008-2009) by the head of the music department on my campus. And I have completed my associate level music requirements at the end of spring term 2010.
