James H.

Wentzville, MO

About James

My name is James, and I love music. Music is my "aeroplane". It's the window to my world. Everything I do involves music: learning it, playing it, listening to it, creating it, studying it. I think it is safe to say that music is my life's passion. If you have a passion for music, or even just a curiosity, I'd love to be the one to help you explore the magical world of music! I've been playing for about 20 years now, and I've had almost every experience that one can have playing the piano: playing at a high competition level, public performances, both solo and ensemble, lots of private instruction. My personal training is in classical piano, however I believe that all genres possess the potential to be an instrument of learning and enjoyment, AT THE SAME TIME! And I'd love to show you ...

James has been a real inspiration to me in playing the piano. I had been playing the piano over 30 years when I started lessons with him. He has helped me to become more expressive, to create medleys and arrangements, and to modulate to other keys and key signatures. I have gained more of an appreciation for different musical styles and have progressed further than I ever imagined. I highly recommend him as a patient and knowledgeable teacher.

Best teacher ever!

James has been great with Jesse. Over the years, he has tailored the lessons to meet Jesse's needs and interests and always keeps it fun. We appreciate how he comes to our house at a time that we all agree on and we can count on him to be here. Thanks James!

Lisa Y.

Ballwin, MO

About Lisa

My love of singing began with my mother. She is an amazing singer but didn't really receive training, so she encouraged me to pursue singing. I was in choirs since 3rd grade and started voice lessons in 8th grade. My senior year in high school I was part of a choir that was invited to sing on NPR's From The Top! It was a thrilling experience. I received a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. I participated in choirs, musicals, and other performance venues, including two recitals. Since graduation I have moved to St. Louis to pursue singing and teaching. I am excited to share my love of singing with you! *** Lesson Details *** I want to facilitate your musical growth, working with you to reach your goal. Regardless of ...

Leslie R.

O Fallon, MO

About Leslie

Hello, Everyone! Wishing you a Happy Holidays!!! My name is Leslie. I come from a strong musical background of various instruments, lessons, and family support. I began playing piano when I was five years old, which continued throughout high school and my first college experience. In addition to piano, I was trained in voice and French horn, beginning in high school, and recently started learning guitar. I began teaching piano in 2000 and found it to be a great experience. I thoroughly enjoy being able to show others the joys of not only playing the piano, but conquering an instrument that is often seen as intimidating! I have had several students over the past 15 years, and I would be glad to provide references if you would like. I received a Bachelor's in Music ...
