Eric was great. He is obviously very knowledgeable but he is also easy to talk to and seemed to quickly understand what I knew and what I didn't. A good communicator and his set up for the lessons was very comfortable and easy to find. One hour lesson flew by!

After my first lesson I can see Eric is ready , willing and quite capable of taking on the challenge to work with me as an adult beginner on the instrument. He took the time to really get a good idea of where my skill level currently is and gave clear instruction on exercises to use in order to build from there. Furthermore, he gives a clear picture of the path the instruction will follow in order to get to the level of playing that I want to achieve.
Eric's personality combined with the spacious home studio setting provides a comfortable atmosphere of learning without distractions.
Not only do I feel Eric will be a good instructor for me but, I will also be scheduling my daughter for lessons with him to learn her third instrument, the guitar. So yes, I do recommend him for lessons!

Henry is a great bass teacher. He teaches a lot of standard repertoire but also makes a huge effort to find music that the students are interested in and listen to outside of lessons and playing (Me and two other students are learning how to play Bohemian Rhapsody in a bass trio). He knows how to approach a piece of music or a new technique being taught from many different angles and is good at explaining things. He is a master at finding fingerings and teaching bowing technique. Henry is not super strict and is pretty nice. He is a little more on the soft-spoken side, not super rambunctious. Good bass teacher and easy to get along with. I personally think that I have improved a lot under his teaching. Also, he can teach jazz and classical.

Please DO NOT book too many lessons at once! Sometimes students and teachers need to determine if they are good matches. Same for me: in order for me to be a best teacher for you, we only need one trial lesson to get to know each other:D

So, after you read about me and you think I will be the be
st match for you, please just book ONE LESSON, which will serve as a "trial lesson" And after that, if you like me and want to continue more lessons, then we will discuss further details about lessons:D

Thanks again! and I hope to hear from you soon!

Lessons with SooJi is very satisfying. I also went to one of her concerts few weeks ago. She played Totentanz with the orchestra. Her piano playing was very enjoyable, moving, and passionate, inspiring me to only be in the moment to soulfully listen and feel Soo Ji's beautiful and artful expression. She is an exquisitely talented young pianist.

Excellent with children and I sure just as great with adults. My daughter LOVES and looks forward to her piano lessons with "Ms SooJi" although she is not entirely thrilled with her daily practice at home. SooJi provides excellent tips for helping her with tough spots and is equally challenging and encouraging. She is the best thing that happened for my 7 yr old who tends to want to quit when the going gets rough with anything, and it is a joy to hear how much she has learned in a year! I wish she could stick around long enough to teach my younger one as well. She is reliable and will go out of her way to provide make up lessons if needed. We have lessons in person during the school year and Skype lessons in the summer. I was initially skeptical about the quality of the Skype lessons when she suggested it, however by the end of the summer, I was totally surprised at how much my daughter learned, and I was not disappointed in the quality of the lessons.
