I’m a Brazilian Musician, with 13 years of experience. I have been teaching all ages. Levels and styles. I Studied at a famous brazilian university (ULM) with the best teachers of Brazilian Music and studied jazz at Berklee College of Music. Since 2005 I have been teaching Brazilian music to students from all over the world!

Learn the fundamentals of technique, theory, reading, memorization and expression. Many students will benefit from working with Aaron Shearer's inovative concepts and materials. Others will strengthen reading and interpretive skills through working with great works by masters such as Bach, Barrios, Tarrega and Brouwer. Many of my students have successfully prepared for auditions at universities and conservatories, but older beginners and hobbyist are welcome too.

I primarily focus on popular music styles, but I do offer a classical focus if the student has interests in that realm. I primarily teach via the discovery method; Which makes learning more active so that the students grasp concepts more effectively and develop the ability to learn independently.

I understand that every student's interests, goals and learning styles vary. As an instructor I teach accordingly with custom made lesson plans that cater to who you are as a student. Whether you are studying to pursue therapeutic/recreational goals or studying to pursue professional endeavors I will help you get there.

Learning picking and fingering technique. I use the Mel Bay Method Books, Carcassi Method, Aaron Shearer Classic Guitar Technique Book 1.
