Tyler is a wonder and talented musician who teaches. I have found the norm is that talented musicians play and the rest teach. Tyler does both wonderfully! He's a creative and encouraging teacher who know how to take complex material and explain it in a way anyone can understand! I highly recommend him to whoever is interested in learning a musical Instrument!

My 8 year old son has been taking online piano lessons from Joshua for about a month now due to the current situation. I was hesitant at first since I was worried about the effectiveness of online lessons. But after taking a few lessons, my son won't stop talking about how much fun he's having and how much he's learning. I am very satisfied with the progress that my son is making. I recommend the 1 hour lessons since that's the one I got. The lesson prices are also MUCH cheaper than the local music school's so that was a plus.

I really like the way Joshua set up his lesson plans for the week accordingly to what I am studying for. He explained concepts to me very well and challenged me to do other problems that deal with the calculus problems we worked on together. I got a grade bump up thanks to his help! I highly encourage students who want to get ahead in calculus to make an appointment with him.

Joshua is one of the best tutors I had the pleasure of dealing with! My child showed drastic improvements and a new profound interest in piano. Sitting in on a lesson, Joshua made sure my son was not only comfortable, but also understanding of the new material being taught. Joshua is also very accommodating with my schedule and offered alternative scheduling when possible. Very professional and would recommend!

Ms. Galyna is very nice and patient in teaching, no matter the kid is a quick learner or a slow one. Her piano studio is a wonderful place that provides a good learning environment for students.

My daughter used to take flute lessons with Galyna. I wish she didn't move from Princeton, so my daughter could continue lessons with her. Galyna's kindness, engaging personality and desire to help a student grow as a musician were important factors which contributed to a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere. Her own performances were always inspirational. She is a great teacher, and I highly recommend her!

David's immense experience across a variety of disciplines has made him well-equipped to help students pursue their individual interests and goals. A classically trained singer, pianist, and violinist turned musical theater actor, accompanist, and fiddler, David lights up particularly at the mention of Debussy piano works, Mozart violin concertos, Tin Pan Alley songs, Scottish or Old Time fiddle, or music theory and aural training.

David is a Chicago-based performer. Just before COVID hit, he appeared in MURDER FOR TWO at the Actors Theatre of Indiana, a musical whodunit in which he played 14 different characters and piano throughout the show, and sang in the bass section of the prestigious William Ferris Chorale. "After years of wanting to learn the piano, but not having the time to do so, I finally decided to give it a try. Josh is an amazing teacher who takes the time to get to know you and how you learn best. We worked at a pace that was both comfortable and challenging, and made me look forward to each lesson.

I would recommend Josh to anyone who is looking for a teacher that is patient, fun, and that tailors the lessons to your goals and skill level."

"Love my lessons

John is an amazing teacher all around. Very professional and good at getting me to understand things which may be a bit confusing. I am currently reading and playing between four books and I never thought it would be possible especially just after taking lessons for a year. Sometimes I feel a bit frustraited when I am not able to play certain pieces or when I dont understand a concept but John is great at breaking everything down and making it easier. I am now realizing how my piano skills can be utilizied in my other music projects. When I attend my lessons I am reminded why I love having them so much. With him as my instructor I can see my skills improving and I know I will only get better. I recommend piano lessons to everyone and if you are looking to have a great teacher John is your go to person !"

"I have been taking lessons from Marty for about 4 months. I was looking for someone that could come to my house. I had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke about 18 months ago and needed someone special. Marty is definitely that person. She is kind, patient and understands my disability. I took lessons as a child and come from a musical family and she has restored confidence in my ability to play the piano. My hand/brain coordination has improved greatly. She has incorporated some music theory techniques that really work for me. I am very lucky to have found Marty."

How Yamaha's New Electrified TransAcoustic Reinvents the Modern Piano

As technology progresses, so does the music industry. Here, Tulsa, OK teacher Chris F. explores Yamaha's latest contribution to the world of music-making...   The acoustic piano’s design has remained relatively unchanged for centuries. The electronic keyboard, on the other hand, has had a rich and transformational history over the years, as technology has evolved and improved. What started with the "Denis d'or," an instrument developed in 1793 with 700 strings that were temporaril …
