Music theory is particularly important for those who take music learning seriously, because it can teach us how and why music moves us. I like to mix music theory with ear training exercises so the students can hear what they are reading about. If you are the type of musician who likes to approach music making from a logical standpoint, you might want to add this to your plate.

Luckily, my 6-year-old son could take her lessons and he totally changed in many ways.
He loves violin, but used to practice it for just only 1 hour a day. Once he started learning from her, he was really inspired and started to practice really hard. Now he practices at least 2 hours and more!
I was really worried because it was online lesson so I was wondering if he could concentrate for 60 minutes, but Keiko considered how my son was feeling and understood him well.
She praised my son to encourage improvement and so my son tried to do his very best during the lessons. We are very honored that my son could take her lessons and he’s practicing seriously to get better everyday!

Music theory can be very difficult. If you need help with high school or early college level theory assignments or general studying, I would love to help. I really do love music theory, even though many musicians despise it. It's one of the reasons I went to college for music composition! I love the language of music.
