I grew up in South Korea half of my life and I talk in Korean with my family and my Korean friends all the time. Learning a new language is very difficult, however, with my help, I can definitely get someone to a point where they can understand Korean without stressing out. I have been volunteering as a Korean language teacher in church for 4 years before moving to Los Angeles.

I have taught English to Koreans back in Seoul for more than 8 years, so I know exactly how different these two languages are.

Based on this understanding of how I need to approach non-Korean speaker especially whose mother tongue is English, I am confident that I can let you start studying Korean the easiest way and make the class fun with lots of introduction of Korean cultures and history.

About Suyoun

Hello! My name is Sue and I've been teaching English to Koreans, Koreans to English speakers since 2007. From this long experience, I learned how different and opposite these 2 languages are, so I can teach my student how to learn this beautiful Korean language the most efficient way and fun.

I've put off getting back to learning Korean but I finally made the jump! My first class with Eunjeong was great. We went through some basic testing and she was able to quickly assess my general level. Even though I've taken Korean classes in the past (in person, in school etc) I was already learning some new things with her in my very first session.

Eunjeong has great energy and enthusiasm which definitely rubs off on you and makes you excited to learn new material. One of the most important things for me is that she made me feel comfortable with making mistakes! I'm very happy with my decision to learn Korean with Eunjeong and I look forward to my additional classes.

Sign up with Eunjeong if you want to learn Korean. She is the best!
Jamara A.
She was very welcoming and inviting. The lesson went smoothly, she was able to figure out my level quickly and started on new material. She even provided Korean drinks and snacks for students to try out.
