About Timothy

I challenge my students because I believe in their ability to rise to the occasion to meet and exceed my expectations. I expect a lot from my students and I expect even more from myself. I bring seven years experience of teaching English Language Arts to middle and high school students. During this time, I have seen hundreds of students significantly improve in their reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing skills, literary analysis skills, and so much more. Nothing brings me greater joy and satisfaction than to see a student achieve such great success over the course of a school year. When I am not teaching in the classroom, I am managing Get2Act . Through Get2Act, myself and my team, teach acting, musical theatre, dance, and singing throughout the year. We ...

About Joe

Hello! I've been singing since before I can remember and playing instruments for almost as long. I have a passion for music. Whether it's being onstage at York Little Theatre, singing with the church choir in Red Lion, or paying with one of several local and regional bands, I love music and performing. There's no rush like sharing your passion with an audience, and I believe that with practice comes confidence and with confidence comes a great performer. I'll make my schedule/rates as flexible as possible to accommodate anyone who wants to learn! Let's get started!

I've been teaching Drama for 8 years and many of my students have gone on to pursue theatrical studies at the college level. I specialize in audition preparation. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Shelley

I have had a strong love of the arts my whole life. At age 4, my parents enrolled me in piano lessons. I loved to sing along while I played piano, and my piano teacher encouraged my parents to enroll me in vocal lessons at age 5, which continued until I graduated high school. I began performing in plays and talent shows in elementary school. Throughout middle and high school, I sang in numerous choirs, performed in every school production, and attended summer camp to continue pursuing my love of the arts. In 2007, I graduated from University of Delaware with my B.A. in Theatre Production and Dramatic Literature, and a minor in Vocal Performance. I have a Masters in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. I currently teach Drama at Baltimore City College High School, and continue to ...

About Noah

Noah Noah (Baltimore, United States) creates performances and films. By taking daily life as subject matter while commenting on the everyday aesthetic of middle class values, Smith often creates work using creative game tactics, but these are never permissive. Play is a serious matter: during the game, different rules apply than in everyday life and even everyday objects undergo transubstantiation. His performances are an investigation into representations of (seemingly) concrete ages and situations as well as depictions and ideas that can only be realized in performance. With Plato’s allegory of the cave in mind, he makes work that deals with the documentation of events and the question of how they can be presented. The work tries to express this with the help of physics and ...

6 Mistakes You’re Making on Your Acting Resume

Professional actors often can’t help but feel a little powerless when it comes to the process of auditioning and booking jobs. Sure, from the outside people think that actors have some say in creative aspects, but your input and personal preferences are really quite insignificant in the process (well, not until you're on a Brangelina level at least). Acting Tips: What's in your Toolbox?
As with any profession, actors have tools. Just as a doctor needs a stethoscope or a fireman needs a hose, there are certain items an actor must keep in their toolbox. None of these is a wrong answer. Being an actor or artist is subjective and everyone's process is different and valid. But th
