Maybe you're curious about acting. Maybe you're serious about it. Maybe you just need to come out of your shell a little bit. I've taught 'em all, with great success. I look forward to meeting you.

About Susan

Acting – I have taught all kinds of acting, including Audition Skills, Shakespeare, Stage, Film & TV, Dramatic, Comedic, whatever. I also have quite a bit of experience performing in all those arenas. Voice – Anyone can sing. I you want to and have always thought you couldn't, you will be delighted when I prove you wrong. If you're a serious singer, no matter what kind of singing you want to do, you should train classically. It's just the best way to train those delicate muscles. I am an excellent coach, at any level. I will teach you how to OWN the song. That's what keeps people coming back. However, as an instructor, I am better with beginners. Speaking – Ever lost your voice because you were talking too much? Every professional speaker I know of has. YOU DON'T HAVE TO. It's ...

Timothy B. Aberdeen, MD

Taught acting, improvisation, creative drama, voice, movement, script analysis, and director to children ages 7-18.

About Timothy

I challenge my students because I believe in their ability to rise to the occasion to meet and exceed my expectations. I expect a lot from my students and I expect even more from myself. I bring seven years experience of teaching English Language Arts to middle and high school students. During this time, I have seen hundreds of students significantly improve in their reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing skills, literary analysis skills, and so much more. Nothing brings me greater joy and satisfaction than to see a student achieve such great success over the course of a school year. When I am not teaching in the classroom, I am managing Get2Act . Through Get2Act, myself and my team, teach acting, musical theatre, dance, and singing throughout the year. We ...

Larry is an incredible teacher. I was never bored at any lessons, Larry had me thinking hard every lesson, challenging the way I looked at history. I feel like not only did I learned what happened in history but I came out of it looking through a different paradigm.

I recommend him to everyone.

As an adult student who has struggled with creative writing, Larry has been instrumental in opening a whole new world of self expression for me. I highly recommend him for any student who wishes to either grasp fundamental skills or for the one who simply wishes to polish their own.

Additionally Larry has been able to introduce me to Shakespeare, a life long interest of mine... one which has always frustrated me do to my lack of understanding, in a non threatening, non stressful way.

Thank you Larry.

I've been teaching Drama for 8 years and many of my students have gone on to pursue theatrical studies at the college level. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to develop your voice and body as an actor, and as time goes on you'll be able to use these tools to create a character on stage. I specialize in audition preparation. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Shelley

I have had a strong love of the arts my whole life. At age 4, my parents enrolled me in piano lessons. I loved to sing along while I played piano, and my piano teacher encouraged my parents to enroll me in vocal lessons at age 5, which continued until I graduated high school. I began performing in plays and talent shows in elementary school. Throughout middle and high school, I sang in numerous choirs, performed in every school production, and attended summer camp to continue pursuing my love of the arts. In 2007, I graduated from University of Delaware with my B.A. in Theatre Production and Dramatic Literature, and a minor in Vocal Performance. I have a Masters in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. I currently teach Drama at Baltimore City College High School, and continue to ...
