Doreene met with our daughter and made her feel at ease and comfortable from the start. She listened to her sing and made several suggestions that made an immediate difference in her singing. Looking forward to many more sessions with her.

I first started taking from Doreene about three years ago. I live in a place where there seem to be absolutely NO good voice teachers, and I was absolutely lost when it came to technique. Luckily, I was recommended to her by a friend and have been taking lessons over webcam ever since. All I can say is Wow! What an improvement! I had no connection into my chest voice when I first began taking and was terrified to sing anything other than classical. Now I feel confident singing pop, theater, Broadway, you name it, because I have faith in my voice and I know that she's always right. You'll never have to worry about being embarrassed about your voice when you sing for her or anything. She's fun, friendly, happy, and she knows what she's talking about. Even if you don't plan on being famous one day, you will love being able to use all three parts of your voice and will develop faith in your own singing, something that we always try for. Thanks so much Doreene!!

I have been teaching for 15 yrs. and playing for 34 yrs. I absolutely love to watch the learning process take shape. I get a great deal of joy from teaching and witnessing students pass and achieve greatness. When they overcome what seem like insurmountable odds to them and then perform something flawlessly, especially in a live setting, It just does not get any better than this. I cannot imagine doing anything else with my time. I have a strong ability to connect with each individual student and create a personal lesson plan for each and every unique personality. Depending on the person, I will personally tailor a lesson plan for that individual based on their natural ability, coordination skills, mindset, musicality and overall rhythmic sense. I also try to give each and every student ...

So creative and fun!

Jaesi is a sweet and a little shy, but there is a lot of creativity hidden under her shy giggles. She will go in any direction you want. I had a song in my head during the lesson and she ended up teaching me how to play it! She makes it feel much more like teamwork and is a partner to play and learn from. She is such an awesome teacher!
